In 1983, Elder Gerald M. Williams, Sr. and Minister Diane D. Williams made the decision to start their own ministry. They left the founding ministry and leadership of Bishop C.M. Davis, Sr. to begin holding services in their home. Their ministry began to grow, and was moved to a small facility, which had been remodeled by Elder Williams, located on East Mound Street in Columbus, Ohio.

In late 2000, they officially implemented the study of "Hebraic Roots of Christian Faith". On December 31, 2001, the congregation agreed to make the transition to Sabbath (Saturday) worship services and embraced the name of Yeshua Is LORD Ministries.

Today, Bishop Gerald and Pastor Diane Williams along with the congregants of Yeshua Is LORD Ministries (YLM) now celebrates the goodness, provision, and favor that Yahweh has shown in fulfilling the mission, vision, and purpose of YLM.

Bishop Gerald and Pastor Diane Williams have been married nearly forty years, and they have three married children and a number of grandchildren.

Bishop Gerald Williams Sr. has a Bachelors degree in Religious Education from Enon Bible College and Pastor Diane Williams has a Bachelors of Science degree in Social Psychology from Park University.
